An eBook (electronic book), is a book in the form of a PDF file that contains exactly the same content as a printed copy or hard copy book. You read it digitally on your computer - download & read eBooks on a computer, a PDA, an eReader (e.g., Kindle, Sony Reader, Nook, etc.), or an Iphone. Or print to make a hard copy version. You will need Adobe PDF Reader or another .pdf 'reader' to view your files. PDF requires the Acrobat Reader but this software comes on many new computers. Both are free downloads at Adobe.com
